It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Well ... after a whole month of yet another ‘lockdown’ I can honestly say I’ve used all my time and energies to put wholeheartedly into a ‘new type of selling‘ to me known as ‘Online’. This required more and more things going onto our website and creating bigger and more exciting ideas across all of our different social media platforms. To me it was sort of like creating a whole new business are learning many new concepts of running a small business ... in a totally different way.

The buying part of the job has always been my favourite as well as the merchandising, displays, windows etc. Obviously sales is my biggest asset but now I find myself doing all my old jobs plus advertising , marketing and lots more in a whole new way!

It’s been challenging, fun, tiring and stressful at times, and as much as it has been yet another bad time having to sadly lockdown i have succeed. I know this has killed many small retail businesses this year but if there’s one things these ‘lockdowns’ have taught me is to stay strong, stay positive, never give up and always embrace challenge and change.

Now ... as we unlock our door and move swiftly into December I look forward to a busy and successful month over Christmas online and in my lovely little shop X
