New Year - New Positivity

Trusting I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year... although somewhat different for us all, but all the same, fantastic!

Well with the closing of our shop once again following the government guidelines to move into tier 4 five days before Christmas much to our shock and sadness. It didn't give any of us much time to do that critical last minute shopping. However, once again this only motivated me more and I used all my creativity to market and advertise as much as I could online - via all social medias including: WhatsApp groups, Instagram etc. and it worked!

One thing 2020 has taught me, aside from all the negatives, is 'loyalty'. Loyalty of good friends and family, all of my old; regular customers of the past 23 years and now new ones that come into shop with me and brighten up my days working in the shop making this all worth it, even through the hardest of times. 2020 was pretty fearful at times, not being in control of your business opening/closing and fearful of losing it all - but this Christmas especially has shown so much loyalty from so many people to power through these fears and make them a bad dream rather than reality.

This has given me the strength to go on - creating and finding new ways to expand my wonderful business. Sometimes from the bad comes so much good, a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow after raining. and this year has certainly proved that.

Lets all look forward, fast forward, to getting some 'normal' back into our lives. With family, friends, work, customers, support and positivity, we can all do this... looking forward to the days of popping round to a friends', going for a local drink or meal, and even more so a wonderful well-earned holiday - all of course done in 'style', 'Paraphernalia style'.
